Your Dish network satellite television equipment is state of the art technology which requires very little maintenance after being installed.

There is no additional maintenance necessary to your satellite dish post installation. It is a high quality piece of equipment designed to weather the elements. Keep it free of bird and insect nests. If it should become misaligned due to impact or wind damage call the service center to have its alignment checked and corrected. Satellite dish alignment is critical to system performance and diamond sharp clarity of your satellite tv system.

Your Dish Network satellite receivers and remote controls, respond to the same treatment you would with give any electronic appliance, such as your TV or VCR.

Use a very slightly moist cloth or a commercial electronics cleaner such as Endust to dust the outside of the receivers. Keeping the outside of your Dish Network receivers and your remote controls clean and dust free will help keep the inside of your receiver clean as well. If you use one of the commercially available electronic cleaners be sure to follow the instructions on the packaging or the actual container. Never pour or place liquids on any piece of satellite equipment. Do not put hot things on or near your decoders or remotes. Keep magnetic material away from your equipment too!
